Rules And Regulations
Please ensure you carefully follow all exam rules and regulations:
- The International English Olympiad, is an international competition open to students from Grades 1 to 12.
- The Olympiad consists of two rounds: the Preliminary Round and the Global Round.
- Students may register (privately) online via website or get registered through their schools.
- All registered participants will take a qualifying exam for the Preliminary Round online/paper-based.
- The examination process is divided into two rounds.
- Preliminary Round.
- Global Final. (Sydney, Australia 2027)
How to Qualify?
Junior English Olympiad
Here are some guidelines to follow for qualifying in Junior English Olympiad,
1.
The exam includes a total of 20 to 25 MCQs questions.
2.
The duration of the paper is 50 mins.
3.
Student must take the exam based on their respective grade category:
✔ JEO 1 (Grade 1 & 2).
✔ JEO 2 (Grade 3 & 4).
✔ JEO 3 (Grade 5 & 6).
✔ JEO 4 (Grade 7 & 8).
✔ SEO 5 (Grade 9 & 10).
✔ SEO 6 (Grade 11 & 12).

Students who achieve Gold, Silver and Bronze awards in the Preliminary Round are eligible to participate in the Global Round.
5.
The students who want to participate in the Global Final Round should submit a separate registration form available on the website.
6.
The Global Round will consist of 25 MCQS based questions with some interactive team challenges.

Awards
Below are the Award details for both the Preliminary and Global Rounds of the Junior English Olympiad.
Preliminary
Round:
- The preliminary round is the participants' initial challenge, and awards are presented based on the results achieved in this round. The awards are represented:
Top 91% – 100% will get Gold Award
Next 80% – 90% will get Silver Award
Next 65% – 79% will get Bronze Award
Next 40% – 64% will get Honorable Mention Award
corresponding to the performance shown by the students in the competition. These awards indicate the level of success achieved by the students in each category. In addition, certificates are provided for all participants, recognizing their participation in this stage.
Global
Round
- In the global final round, awards are determined based on the total points accumulated by participants in each grade level:
For each category:
- Cash Award (for top 3 winners in each category)
Top 91% – 100% will get Gold Award
Next 80% – 90% will get Silver Award
Next 65% – 79% will get Bronze Award
Next 40% – 64% will get Honorable Mention Award
